RyanAir Job

Hope you are all good at EASA. Just to give you a quick update, I did an assessment with RyanAir recently and they have informed me that I was successful. I will be starting training with them at the end of January. I would like to thank you and all the staff at EASA for the help that I received during my training!
-Gavin Kenny

Commercial ATPL

I first visited EASA in July 2007 after my 17th Birthday. The staff and instructors were first class. My course was completed on time and on budget. Being the first time out of my home country I was a little uncertain of what was awaiting me! But after a few days I was well on my way to my PPL! I returned in November 2009 and completed my Multi Engine Piston Rating, and found EASA great to deal with again. I hope to return this year to complete my Commercial Pilots Licence and have no doubt I will receive the same top quality training again!
-Andrew Power

Thank You

This is just a quick note to thank you for your training. I completed my PPL successfully within the time and now I have been lucky enough to have been selected as a cadet pilot with a British Airline. Without your expertise and flight training I would not have been i nthis situation.
-Gary Smyth

Many Thanks!

Sparkie and I would just like to write and thank everyone for getting us through our pilots license. We thought the whole set up was just right for us even though we needed a holiday at the end to catch up on our sleep! We also wanted to thank not just the pilots but everyone else who helped to make our stay memorable!
-Lisa and Mark

Wonderful time!

Just a quick note to thank you for the splendid time that I had when I was in the US. The course was superbly run and the instructon was excellent! I must confess that after the mixed press I had encountered I was apprehensive about the course to say the least, but these feelings were soon assuaged when you collected me from the airport. I was amazed at everybody's geniality yet despite this friendly atmosphere the rules were adhered to rigidly and an extremely high level of professionalism was maintained. Suffice it to say most of my friends are now extremely jealous (primarily my father) so unfortunately, it looks as though you may have the thankless task of teaching him to fly. I shall certainly return for my IMC and Night Rating as soon as the time permits. Many thanks again.
- Toby Cross

I will be back!

Flying at your school was great. Your flight schol is really good and I enjoyed the time at Ormond so much that I want to continue as soon as possible (instruments rating, more hours etc.) Perhaps even a professional use might be possible later on.
-Bernd Barten

Thanks for the great time

Flying is a wonderful thing, something I wihs I had done 10 years ago, but glad to have begun now and not in 10 years time! The course was a hard work but well worth the effort and something I would recommend to anyone. I hope it goes without saying that I would - and will - recommend Ormond Beach as the place to do it. Please pass on my best wishes to everyone in the workshop. Bye for now.
-Vivian McCarthy

Twin Rating Experience

Just a brief line to express my thanks for the excellent weeks twin rating course and IMC renewal. After a slow start the course became both informative and very rewarding. I was particularly impressed with the test proceedure which seemed to be conducted on a positive basis and an extension to the learning curve. The accommodation was of high order and I trust that all goes well with the expansion plans.
-Graham Coppock

Gratitude to OBA

I am writing this letter to show my gratitude to you and to all the instructors. I will never find the words to thank you for what I achieved in less than three months; something that nobody would be able to do anywhere in this planet. In other words miracles happen only at ORMOND BEACH FLIGHT CENTRE INC. To be honest I couldnt believe it when the examiner gave me the licence, it was the end of the world for me; but the big surprise was that less than six weeks from when I got my licence I joined AIR MALTA in one of its trainee programms for the post of first officers on B-737/300's. Hopefully, if everything will go as planned, we will commence our evaluations and CAA ATPL within a few days followed by a six month course on type before being cleared as independent first officers. To conclude this letter, I would like to give my best regards to all of the instructors, especially Dan for my first hours. I would also like to add a word of advise to all your students at OBA; BEEING A GOOD PILOT IS A VIRTUE, BUT BEEING AN EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL PILOT MEANS ORMOND BEACH FLIGHT CENTRE.
-Eric Abela

OBA

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for an enjoyable and worth while visit to Ormond Beach Aviation, in order to obtain my JAA PPL. The facilities and equipment you have at the school is very good and beneficial to all who visit. I would like to return next year to do some hour building and maybe an additonal rating, so until then thanks again and I hope to see you next year!
-Andrew Sewell

OBA

I had planned on writing to you once the dust had settled and I had returned to normal. I am writing now because I think it has just dawned o nme what an achievement getting my JAA PPL was. I received my licence fifteen days after getting home and I can only thank you and your dedicated instructors for doing with me what must be a routine to Ormond Beach Aviation, teaching potential pilots to achieve an ambition. Please say hello and htank you to everyone! On my return to the UK and the flying school I had originally started at many people felt that nothing had been achieved by doing my PPL in the states. After I had pointed out some improvements they could make generally, I had my two hour checkout on the 172. On turning up three days later at hte flying school to do my log book I was told that I could take any aeroplane on my own! Obviously the training at Ormond Beach was better than they thought! I will be back soon!
-Doug Jenkins

JAA PPL

I have delayed writing this letter until I was in receipt of my newly issued JAA PPL from the CAA. It has finally arrived after a few weeks of processing, despite the CAA propaganda that claims they now only take five days to issue. The Purpose of this letter is to thank you an d all your staff from helping me to achieve my PPL in only twelve days. This is a considerable improvement on the twelve months that I could have expected take in England. Whilst putting in one hundred percent effort myself, it would not have been possible without the assistance of everybody. I shall have no hesitation in recommending OBA to anybody, whether it be for IMC, twin, or PPL. I will be back soon! Best Wishes.
-Stephen Beardshall

PPL!

Approximately 10 days ago I received my licence from Gatwick. Paging through the logbook again and seeing the entry "first solo" made me realise how quickly a dream can be turned to reality with the right help. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you and all the staff at OBA for your expert training and patience. I must admit that after the first hour of "orientation" I thought it almost impossible to finish the required training within the 21 days I had given myself. The fact that I was finished within 14 days can only be attributed to an expert team and organisation. Better still is the fact that the owner of an aircraft which I rented in Toulouse recently had only good comments regarding the training I had brought back from the States! I will be back again in October and look forward to seeing everyone again!
-Egmont Baumgartner

Great time! I will be back!

Well, I am here back at the helm of the Electrical/Avionic desk here at Khamis with a smile frm ear to ear and my head still in Florida. I couldn't let the days pass without a word of appreciation for the three and a half weeks I spent at Ormond BEach (weather included). To acheive what most people take months to realise is not just down to myself but to the excellent tuition and dedication of the flight instructors. This aside, the organisation, infrastructure, professionalism and sheer dedicated hard work of yourselves and all the members of staff is incredible. As a student your main concern is getting through the cours eand gaining that PPL but looking around at what you have achieved is just staggering and the business acumen shown was not lost on me. Hope to see you next summer and wish you all the best success in the future! Best Regards.
-Mark Oswald

Thanks Guys!

Words cannot express how much I enjoyed my stay with you in March. I would like to thank every one of your an the organisation to help me realise my dream. The achievement of the JAA PPL has opened a whole new dimension for me in the pure enjoyment and sense of freedom that flying gives. I really appreciated the qulity of instructon and the focus given to safe and controlled flying ensuring that pilot, machine and other air users are treated with the necessary respect. Very sincerely yours
